This image featuresMickey Mantle and Roger Maris, who were the main reasons the New York Yankees terrorized American League pitchers during the early 1960s. The pair; nicknamed The M M Boys, played outfield together from 1960 to 1966, in which time the Bronx Bombers won five American League pennants and two World Series titles. In their first three years as teammates, they combined for six All-Star Game appearances, and won all three AL MVP awards.
