Extraordinary Rocky Marciano Signed 1952 National League Baseball With JSA COA

Introduction

Official National League (Giles) ball signed by former undefeated heavyweight boxing champion Rocky Marciano and singer/actor Al Martino. Both individuals have signed their names in blue ink. This ball dates to the 1952-1957 manufacturing period. As such, it was most likely signed by Marciano during his five-year reign as heavyweight boxing champion (1952-1956). Al Martino was a popular singer during the era and is probably best known today for playing the role of Johnny Fontane in each of the threeGodfatherfilms. In Excellent condition overall. Together with two original 8 x 10-inch photos (Vg-Ex overall), each dated stamped “1956” on the reverse, of Marciano playing baseball.
