Official American League (Harridge) ball would have been from a contest at Yankee Stadium, ball is heavily toned with faint stampings. Handwritten is a somewhat faded “World Series Umpires 1947” on a side panel but the signatures have stood up well, including: Bill McGowan, Babe Pinelli, Eddie Rommel, Larry Goetz, Jim Boyer, and George Magerkurth. The Bronx Bombers prevailed in the thrilling 7-game series, capturing the finale at the Stadium. PSA LOA.
