This image features Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax. He made his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers as an erratic throwing teenager. When he learned to control what he threw with his gifted left arm, he became the best pitcher in baseball. Koufax used a blazing fastball and devastating curve to dominate the National League for five seasons (1962-66). Before his career ended prematurely due to injury, Koufax had tossed four no-hitters, including a perfect game against the Cubs on September 9, 1965.
