Roger Maris Mickey Mantle & Joe Dimaggio Signed American League Baseball JSA COA

Introduction

This extremely rare and desirable signed American League baseball (MacPhail) features the signatures of three of the greatest players in Yankees history: Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, and Roger Maris. Each player has signed the ball in blue ink on a separate panel, with the sweet spot reserved for Roger Maris. This is one of the most elusive signature combinations in the hobby, mainly because Maris passed away in 1985, just prior to the “signing show” boom. Maris didn’t start attending Yankees Old Timers’ Day games until the late 1970s; therefore, there was only a small window of time in which Maris could have signed this ball. Of special note, this is one of only a very few balls we have ever seen bearing the signatures of DiMaggio, Mantle, and Maris, making it a particularly interesting and desirable commodity for any Yankees collector.
