Introduction

There may be no voice more synonymous with baseball than the dulcet tones of Vin Scully. Dating back to the days of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Scully was the unmistakable voice of the Dodgers franchise, serving in radio and television broadcasts from 1949 until his final broadcast in 2016. Scully was also the signature voice in some of baseballs most memorable moments, including Kirk Gibsons Game 1 walk-off home run in the 1988 World Series and Mookie Wilsons ground ball that got through Bill Buckner in the infamous Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. Scullys final game as a broadcaster came on October 2nd, 2016, when the Dodgers were in San Francisco. This offered full ticket was for the game in which Vin Scully hung up the microphone.
